Beamed ceilings, polished wood and slate floors, and original stone fireplace with coal log burner. There is a pleasant south-facing garden with hill views and a patio with garden furniture. The drive has parking for up to 3 cars.
Three bedrooms, 1 double, 1 king size and 1 twin room.
Bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and washbasin.
Kitchen with electric cooker, combi-microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Freezer.
Dining room and sitting room with a coal log burner and smart TV with DVD. A selection of games are provided along with tourist information and books.
There is free WiFi for guests.
The cottage has central heating, and all electricity and seasonal heating is included in the package. An initial supply of logs is provided. Bed linen is included. Please bring your own towels.
Dogs are accepted by arrangement. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage. Candles are not permitted in the cottage.
Charging of electric vehicles from the cottage is not permitted . There is an EV Charging point in Shawcroft car park in Ashbourne.
The cottage is within walking distance of the village pub, The Okeover Arms.
